Brian and I  ( and Baby ) feel so spoiled, and and thankful after our Christmas visit to Canada.  There were two baby showers, Christmas, games, naps, it was by far one of the best breaks we’ve had.

The night before we left, I finally broke down in tears thinking about how incredibly lucky our little family is to have such amazing people (friends and family) in our life! If only this baby only knew how loved she is already!!

I keep saying things like, “next time we drive across this bridge we will have a baby”, “the next time we’re in this house we are going to have a baby”… Brian thinks I’m absolutely crazy..

Oh, and how could I forget, Lyndsay and Justine two incredibly talented photographers took Brian and I out for some maternity photos. It was so much fun.. And I don’t look quite as huge as I feel 😉

First two photos are from Justine

Second two are from Lyndsay

As I write this post, the Poytress family are packing up their home to move back to Canada.. This is bitter sweet, Aaron is in the same program as Brian at the University of Western States and has just graduated!! WOOHOOO!! But that also means that they are leaving their Portland life and friends. I have grown to love this crazy family, we see each other almost every single day, and I will miss them so much! Especially those crazy boys of theirs!

Before they go, we thought we better do a family session.. Unfortunately is was COLD and WINDY outside, and it was hard for the boys. We managed to stay out for a few minutes and get some cute shots.

I love this shot of AJ, he has the best eyes!

Little Miles, looking for some trouble

Do you remember Nate for this POST

Big announcement.. Jesa and Kevin are tying the knot!!

Kevin and my husband Brian have been friends since they were kids, and now they go to school together at UWS. I remember having dinner with Kevin, when Jesa called all the way from Alaska. I tried to pry, asking all the juicy details about their relationship but he couldn’t be broken. Finally when he started to talk about the beautiful Jesa I knew it was the real deal.

Thank you so much for asking me to do your engagement photos, I’m so happy to be a small part of your wedding!

Go on, scroll down and check out these two hotties

Sometimes, at the exact moment when you forget that terrible things can happen, an event so big happens and changes so many lives.

On Thursday October 27th Matt Robic and Luc Fortin landed a plane in the middle of a busy intersection in Richmond B.C. and became heros. Mr. Fortin died in hospital that night, and our dear friend Matt fought as hard as he could until he passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 16th.

They saved 7 passengers on board, and many people on the street.

When events like this happen, they always make you look back and reflect on your life and what you can do to change things, or what you can be thankful for. Go on and hug your loved ones, hold them close and tell them how much you care.

please send some positive thoughts, prayers, energy to Matt’s wonderful family, girlfriend, and friends who are grieving the loss of an amazing young man, and well as celebrating his beautiful life.

Anna Epp - Michelle, so sorry for the loss of such a great friend. He will remain a hero in so many peoples lives forever, for what he was able to do in landing that plane. Thoughts are with you at this time.ReplyCancel
